1. Data We Collect

  • Personal Information: Name, email address, and authentication details provided during sign-up.
  • Resume Data: The text content extracted from the files (PDF, DOCX) you upload for analysis.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you use our service, including IP address, browser type, and interaction logs.

Anonymised technical signals — such as skill categories, experience level, and gap patterns — may be extracted from your audit and used in aggregate to improve RoleGraph's scoring accuracy. No personally identifiable information, resume text, or file data is included in these signals.

2. How We Use AI

RoleGraph utilizes advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) models, including Anthropic's Claude and OpenAI's GPT-4, to provide our services.

  • Processing: Your resume text is sent to these third-party AI providers for the sole purpose of analysis and rewriting.
  • No Training: We configure our API requests to opt-out of training wherever possible. Your data is not used to train global AI models.

3. Data Retention

We retain your audits and Repositioned resumes to provide you with a history of your progress. You may delete a specific resume or your entire account at any time, which will permanently remove this data from our servers.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (SSL/TLS) and strict access controls (Row Level Security) on our databases. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
